Dyna International’s Skull cranial titanium mesh, also known as a titanium mesh cranioplasty or titanium mesh implant, is a medical device used in neurosurgery for the reconstruction of cranial defects. These defects may result from trauma, tumor resection, infection, or other conditions that necessitate the removal of a portion of the skull. During this procedure, neurosurgeons resect the massive bone flap, open the dura mater, remove the hematoma in a similar manner to a standard craniotomy and then use titanium mesh shaped appropriately to replace the bone flap.
